Can you believe the holidays are right around the corner? They are always sneaking up on us. It can be really hard thinking about what to get for your husband, boyfriend or friend. Guys can be difficult, especially when they are the kind of guy that has everything! What do you get someone that already gets them self everything they want?

And what about the guy that is so humble and always tells you he doesn't want anything. "Hunny, I don't need anything. Save your money. Don't waste it on me" Sound familiar? Okay, he is super sweet, but you still need to get him something. For those hard to figure out guys, I have compiled some ideas to make things easier for you.

First off, guys are more like us then you think. They actually enjoy getting pampered once in awhile. So get him an hour massage at a local salon. To save money, you could give him one yourself as well. Light some candles and use some oils. Just give him a little paper in a gift bag that says you will give him an hour massage whenever he pleases.

Also, guys don't really like buying lotions and lip balms for them self, so getting him some manly scented toiletries is always a good idea too. Getting him good scented things, like cologne, will also be great for you. When you are close to him or snuggling, he will smell delicious. You can't go wrong with that!

Now that the weather is getting colder, you could get him a beanie, gloves, or a scarf. If you're willing to spend a little more money, then getting him a nice winter or fall coat is a fantastic gift.

Depending on what kind of activities your man enjoys, get him some accessories. For example, if he is an avid snowboarder, get him a nice bag for his board. If he is a runner, get him a new pair of sneakers. If he enjoys hiking, get him some new gear. If he is really into music, get him tickets to his favorite bands next concert in your area. You just have to think outside of the box a little on this one.

Get him some new shades. Guys love new sunglasses. For some reason they think they look so cool in a new pair. So, get him a nice pair that will last a long time. It may not be summer, but the sun can always shine. They are something that he can use all year long. Speaking of something he can use all year long, get him a new wallet. Is his wallet torn and old? Then get him a new one. They last a long time and he will get a ton of use out of it.

Another great gift idea for him is a watch. Depending on his style you can get him something that suits him. If he is a business man, then get him something more classy. If he is a little nerdy, geeky, or into the latest technology then get him a digital watch or a watch that can be used for an iPod (they make those now!).

If he is the kind of guy that seems to have everything already, then get him a mini foosball table. I know he doesn't have one of these! Gifting him a foosball table that he can travel with will make him love you!

When it comes to gift giving it is not about how much you spend, it is about the thought that you put into it. If you are tight with money this year, a thoughtful gift is perfect. Getting a nice picture album together is a very special gift that he will like. A scrapbook is great too. Putting pictures of your children or the two of you together will be something he can keep forever.

In the end, it's not about the gifts, it's about being with your family, friends, and loved ones. Happy holidays!

Thank you for all the ideas! I certainly know the "you don't need to get me anything" line - don't they know that just makes it harder?! :) I love the mini foosball table idea - very creative! Voted up!
